The basic questions that this study will attempt to answer the following: 1. What are the socio-demographic characteristics and farm characteristics of TGP farmer clients? 2. What are the services availed of by farmer client? 3. What are the inputs utilization, cost, yield and income in onion production? 4. What are the problems encountered by the farmer clients from TGP?

Objectives of the Problem Generally, the study will conduct to determine the economic impact of TGP in the production of onion in Lupao, Nueva Ecija.

Hypothesis of the Study There has been a significant improvement in the socio-economic condition of the onion growers upon the availment of services to the Techno Gabay Program.

Significance of the Study The study may give insight to LGU as implementers for the development of the program. It has the purpose of knowing what it had become through the evaluation of the program in the availment of services of TGP in Lupao, Nueva Ecija.

Significance of the Study The Lupao- Municipal LGU will be used the evaluation report of the TGP as basis for decision-making whether it shall be improved or reassess the Program.

Scope and Limitation of the Study This study will evaluate the impact of TGP on its farmer-clients engaged in onion production. The year 2002 covered the period before TGP while 2010 spanned the period after TGP.

Data Collection The study will utilize both primary and secondary data. The primary data will be collected trough personal interview with TGP farmer-clients and other key informants i.e., MS and ATs in the municipality of Lupao using prepared questionnaire.
