Balanza comercial se define como la diferencia que existe entre el total de las exportaciones menos el total de las importaciones que se llevan a cabo en el pas.

EXPORTACIONES
Son los bienes y servicios que se producen en Colombia y que se venden y envan a clientes de otros pases.

Los productos de exportacin se dividen en dos sectores:

TRADICIONALES: Son los productos bandera que ms produce Colombia, tales como: Caf, Petrleo, Carbn y Ferro nquel. NO TRADICIONALES: Son aquellos que producimos en menos cantidad pero que de igual manera son solicitados por la demanda extranjera, tales como: Agropecuario, Minero, Industrial y diversos o no Clasificados.

Son la cantidad de bienes y servicios que son producidos en el exterior y que se traen a Colombia por parte de las personas, empresas privadas o el gobierno. Los productos de importacin se dividen en 4 categoras: Bienes de consumo. Materias Primas y productos intermedios. Bienes de capital y materiales de construccin.
