To determine the quality of work life and stress and its impact on work

MDP 1: Should the organizations give more power to their employees? RP: To determine the degree to which employees are able to shape their jobs actively, in accordance with their options, interests and needs. RQ: What is the relation between need for power and an employee satisfaction?

H1: Higher the power to design the work, higher the satisfaction. H2: Employees with higher freedom to design their work give higher performance.

MDP 2: Should the organizations provide support for bridging the gap between work and non-work life? RP: To identify the factors that cause imbalance between professional and personal life?

RQ: What are the factors that cause a friction in work and non-work life?
H1: Long work hours leave little time for personal life. H2: Stress from professional life leave little time for personal life.

MDP 3: Should the organizations now focus on health and well-being of its employees? RP: To identify how quality of work life depends on physical and psychological aspects of an individual in any working environment. RQ: What are the direct and indirect effect of computerization on workers health and well-being?

H1: Higher job demand leads to higher strain work environment; hence, it affects their health and well being.
H2: An unstrained work environment ensures good health and psychological conditions which enable the employees to perform work and non-work related functions without inhibitions.

MDP 4: Does technology have a role in our work life?


RP: To determine what role does technology play in work life, stress and its impact on work. RQ: Does technology make us work longer or shorter hours? H1: such advances increase rather than decrease workload and stress.

H2: New technology can clearly enable us to work faster and more efficiently, and it facilitates flexible and remote working but it also mean that we cannot ever really get away and switch off.

MDP 5: Are people aware how to maintain a balance between life and work? RP: New generation is not able to organize their work and life. RQ: How to make people learn the ways of maintaining life and work balance? H1: Organization should organize activities that help them in maintaining the balance between work and life. H2: People should prioritize their work.

MDP 6: Is this potentially a problem set to increase with the advent of more technological inventions? RP: To know why we have given our life to work which run like a computer or any technology. RQ: Have people become more work oriented? H1: People are more after money.

H2: Today work is given preference rather than life.
